Product Weight: 17 lbs. Our Toyota Land Cruiser Hitch Skid Cover is finished in wrinkled black powder coat and TIG welded with 3/16-inch and 5/8-inch high-strength steel to ensure durability. The Hitch Skid Cover replaces the OEM plastic hitch cover, and mounts to the hitch receiver and trailer safety chain hook-up points, providing protection to the rear hitch and bumper.
Installation & Usage
The hitch skid cover is engineered with a 1/4–1/2 inch clearance to prevent contact with the plastic bumper. The skid mounts to the frame while the bumper is mounted to the body, so the gap accommodates chassis flex and relative movement. It also provides a small buffer in low-speed rear impacts. All necessary mounting hardware included.
