Our Catalytic Converter Shield for the Lexus GX550 is TIG welded with 1/4 inch aluminum, providing protection the transmission, while also acting as a catalytic converter shield.
The Catalytic Converter Shield will also work with the Overtrail OEM skid plates, by replacing the rear section of the skid plates. It is a direct bolt-on replacement.
This Catalytic Converter Shield is part of our GX550 Skid Plate Assembly. You will not need to purchase this, if you already purchased our Skid Plate Assembly.
DO NOT use the skid plate as jacking points!
All necessary mounting hardware included.
Torque down all the M8 bolts to 21 ft-lbs./29 Nm. and M10 bolts to 48 ft-lbs./65 Nm.
